A version of the well-known icon known as the Madonna of Cambrai, of which numerous replicas and versions were made by Italian and Flemish painters in the 14th and 15th centuries. The work was brought from Rome to Cambrai (France) around 1440 and taken to its cathedral in 1450. It is known that copies of the work were commissioned from such important painters as Petrus Christus, who made three exact copies of the work . 34,5 x 24 cm; with frame: 45 x 33 cm. Oil on table
