This splendid painting repeats, with hardly any variations, the work on the same theme painted by Vicente López for María Francisca de Braganza, wife of the Infante Carlos María Isidro. Her composition, in which López created a new model of the Immaculate Conception, was a great success at the time, which justifies the existence of different versions of it in museums and private collections. 185 x 100 cm....
