ABE (slight discoloration of the corporal's braid and the madder sash) This mannequin is well known to all collectors in the Paris area in the years 1980-2000. It was in the window of the store "Poussières d'Empire" located in the 14th district of Paris. When the store closed, the mannequin was sold as is to a collector who was kind enough to entrust it to us. It is in its original state. Some elements have been reconstituted in the past like the labels and the uniform is probably a late manufacture made for the colonial exhibition of 1931. Nevertheless, this mannequin is very homogeneous and represents an outfit that is rarely seen outside of certain museums. The mannequin itself, very realistic, was made by the owner of Empire Dust Didier Bauland and his wife Mai-Lan.
