A FAMILLE ROSE ‘QUAIL AND PEACOCK’ PHOENIX TAIL VASE INSCRIBED WITH THE APOCRYPHAL MARK OF EMPEROR QIANLONG China, Late Qing to Republic / Minguo period Adorned with four reserved medallions, two on the body and two on the neck, the main ones finely painted with two quails and chrysanthemums and with peacocks and chrysanthemums. The reserved medallions against a geometrical pattern ground. The base inscribed in iron red with an apocryphal six-character mark of Emperor Qianlong in zhuanshu / seal mark. H: 41,4 cm
