Wooden statue of a male tadep or tatep standing on semi-bent legs. The end of the left arm is tucked under the chin. The curved abdomen has a hole in the center to hold a load. The small tubular eyes are set in deep sockets, the wide mouth is half-open. These statues would be involved in therapeutic practices, particularly in rituals related to fertility. Black and crusty patina.
