A LARGE PAIR OF BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN BALUSTER VASES
China, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) to Republic period (1912-1949). Both with a baluster body rising to a cylindrical neck with a wide flaring rim, flanked with zoomorphic handles, finely painted in underglaze blue and with appealing crazing, depicting a dense composition of floral décor, leafy stems, scrolling vines, with ruyi and meander-patterned bands.
Condition: Overall good condition with surface wear, firing flaws, and small chips to the mouths.
