A BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN ‘DRAGON’ BALUSTER VASE
China, late 19th century. The baluster body rising from a spreading foot to a waisted neck and flaring lip. Painted with a sinuously coiled dragon emerging from crashing waves and chasing the flaming pearl, all surrounded by more flames and framed by circumferential double-lines above the foot and below the rim. Apocryphal Kangxi reign mark on the underside.
Condition: Good condition with firing irregularities and a hairline to upper rim.
