THREE SMALL CELADON GLAZED JARS China, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). One of globular shape with a short neck and matte celadon glaze of a pale blue hue. One of globular shape with a short neck and lustrous craquelure glaze of willow green hue. One of compressed baluster shape, concave neck with an everted rim and the body covered with a lustrous, very pale celadon glaze. The rim highlighted with a brownish glaze line. Each jar with glaze neatly stopping at the base. Condition: Very good condition with minor firing flaws, and wear. Provenance: Holzapfel collection, Geneva, Switzerland. This lot was acquired by a second-generation member of the Holzapfel family and has remained in the family ever since.
