A SONG STYLE QINGBAI GLAZED EWER AND COVER China, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) to Republic period (1912-1949). The globular body rising from a short ring foot to a narrow tubular neck, set with a strap handle and faceted curved spout, with a tiered tubular shaped cover. The body molded in relief with petals and ornamental designs. Overall covered with a light blueish glaze, except for the base, revealing the sand-colored buff. Condition: Good condition with some wear and firing irregularities. Some minute fritting and glaze erosion. Provenance: Ex-Collection of The Zelnik István Southeast Asian Gold Museum. Institutional art collection in Belgium, acquired from the above.
