A LONGQUAN CELADON MOLDED ‘PEONY’ DISH
China, Yuan Dynasty (1279-1368) to Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Heavily potted with shallow rounded sides rising from an accentuated ring foot to a gently curved rim, the center finely molded with a peony spray, covered overall with a glaze of sea-green tone darkening in the recesses, the foot partially unglazed revealing the reddish ware.
Condition: Very good condition with traces of wear and age, some firing irregularities, such as dark spots or firing cracks.
