A MINIATURE IVORY OKIMONO OF FATHER AND CHILD
Japan, Meiji period (1868-1912)
The charming ivory okimono depicting a father and a child with a toolbox next to them. The small child is holding a tool in his right hand, showing it to the father, and the father appears to explain the tool to the curious child. The artist’s signature underneath the father’s right leg.
HEIGHT 3.4 cm
Condition: Good condition with traces of wear and age.
Provenance: French private collection.
