A TRANSPARENT BLUE GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE
China, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) to Republic period (1912-1949). The flattened globular body rising from an oval foot to a short cylindrical neck. Either side with a carved central flower, the sides with lion masks handles. With an associated gilt bronze stopper cast with a flower and holding a bone spoon.
Condition: Excellent condition with only minor wear.
Provenance: Hungarian private collection, according to the current owner acquired from a Swiss private collection in 1990.
