A GILT COPPER-ALLOY ‘DRAGON’ VASE
China, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). The double lozenges shaped vase decorated with high relief applications of chilong dragons, ruyi clouds and archaistic designs on the front and back, and neatly incised with geometric and floral motifs to the sides. On the underside an incised apocryphal four-character Yongzheng reign mark.
Provenance: A notable private collector in Kensington, London, United Kingdom.
Condition: Very good condition with minor surface scratches, nicks, dents, some wear to the gilt.
