A MASSIVE PARCEL-GILT BRONZE CENSER
China, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). Well cast, the globular body tapering towards the foot and curving inward to the rounded interior of the neck. The foot decorated in relief with a band of lotus petals emerging from the base, the later centered with a flower within a beaded ring. The rim encircled by a further band of petals below two raised ribs. With an associated wood tripod stand.
Condition: Very good condition with minor wear and casting irregularities. The stand with few losses.
