A BRONZE FIGURE OF GUANYIN WITH ELEPHANT
China, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). Heavily cast as a seated Guanyin, the face with downcast eyes, flanked by elongated earlobes, the hair tied in a high chignon behind a tiara, holding a ruyi scepter in her left hand, an elephant to her right.
Condition: Very good condition with some traces of age and wear such as nicks and scratches, some casting irregularities. The bronze with smooth patina.
Provenance: Dutch private collection, according to the current owner acquired at a Dutch antique fair.
