Beautiful bindings signed by Gruel, identical for the two volumes, lavaliere maroon, spine with 5 prominent bands, author and title gilt, boxes and boards framed with a set of gilt and cold fillets, gilt fillet on the edges, inner border decorated with a roulette and 4 gilt fillets, gilt head, cover and spine.
