First edition of this erotic dictionary, based on the manuscript of Nicolas Blondeau, lawyer at the parliament, who lived in the 17th century, enlarged and with notes by François Noël. Originally written in Latin, it was translated by Alcide Bonneau, author of the "Essai sur la langue érotique" at the head of the work.
Edition of 375 numbered copies on laid paper (n° 170).
A well preserved copy in an English binding of the period. A few small rubs from use, not serious.
