Set of the first 3 volumes of Baudelaire's complete works.
The first volume, containing "Les Fleurs du mal", has the preface by Théophile Gautier in its original edition, and 25 new pieces. Dated 1869, it is illustrated with a portrait of the author.
The other two titles are partly first editions.
Volume of "Les Fleurs du mal" faded, partly uncropped, broken at the spine. Soiling and stains on the cover. Some foxing. The volume of " Curiosités esthétiques " is incomplete of the false title, the title and the portrait, the cover is slightly soiled. The copy of " L'Art romantique " is broken at the spine and with tears on the cover.
