Chalice veil given by the Duchess of Angoulême. Chalice veil, in red silk velvet, square shape, with applied decoration of large fleur-de-lis surmounted by a royal crown in gold thread, bordered by a large braid woven with gold thread. Good condition. French work, end of 18th century. H. : 54 cm - L. : 53 cm. Provenance : this chalice veil was offered to Jean-Baptiste de Bouillé (1759-1842), by the duchess of Angoulême (1778-1851)
