Note (*) : It could be Jean-Baptiste HUCHERARD writing his manuscript " Historical researches on foundlings, those of the city of Paris and those of the Hospice de la Maternité ", dated 1831. Knight of the Legion of Honor, former supervisor of the Hospice de la Maternité et des Enfans Trouvés, former administrator and treasurer of the Bureau de Charité of the XIIth district, he made an interesting study on this subject.
