Jarry, Alfred (1873-1907). Author of the text. "Ubu Roi" drama in 5 acts François Ubu, known as Father Ubu, is a fictional character created by the French writer Alfred Jarry. The Chanson du Décervelage first appeared in the third edition of Ubu Roi, in the Revue Blanche, in 1900.
