Entirely handwritten French Missal by L. Gamard, of the Société des Amis des Cathédrales and the Société Française d'Archéologie.
Manuscript entirely illuminated with watercolours, completed on March 1, 1836, in-8 format, bound in full chagrin, spine with metal clasps with star motifs, pink silk endpapers, gilt edges.
Manuscript consisting of 123 leaves, including different prayers, each presented by a watercoloured frontispiece under a serpente, some with notated tunes, and the whole ends with a table of contents indicating the name of the prayer, the author and its period.
Remarkable work, of great finesse.
