Post-1945 - German Democratic Republic (GDR) : Battle Group Flag of the GDR. This flag features a red fabric field with fringe to three sides. The obverse and reverse center features the emblem of the battle group: rifle with the red flag of the Workers ' Movement surrounded by oak leaf branches in silver-grey wool thread embroidery. The upper left field features a silver-grey embroidered designation: "II. KAMPFGRUPPEN - BATAILLON (mot.) NORDHAUSEN". With original, two-piece staff. Comes without finial. Rotes Fahnentuch mit dreiseitigem grauen Fransenbehang. In der Mitte beidseitig das Emblem der Kampfgruppen, Gewehr mit der roten Fahne der Arbeiterbewegung umgeben von Eichenzweigen in silbergrauer Wollfadenstickerei. Im linken oberern Feld silbergrau gestickte Bezeichnung:"II. KAMPFGRUPPEN - BATAILLON (mot.) NORDHAUSEN". An originaler, zweiteiliger Fahnenstange. Ohne Fahnenspitze. Condition: 1-2
