The group gathered under the name of the Pseudo-Caroselli convention includes about forty paintings, either influenced by Caroselli himself, but with a more caravaggio and northern aspect, or given to Caroselli at the beginning of his career.
We thank Mrs. Nikita de Vernejoul for proposing this attribution to the Pseudo-Caroselli by visual examination.
