Piece comprising more than 20% of proboscidean ivory (Loxodonta Africana, or Elephas Maximus) worked according to the terms of the Washington convention, dated before March 2, 1947, authorized for sale subject to a declaration to the CITES services in accordance with the provisions of Council Regulation (EC) No 338/97 of December 9, 1996 and the decree of August 16, 2016, modified by the decree of May 4, 2017. Scientific method and tests carried out for the identification of the material: - Direct visual examination to note the presence of significant morphological characteristics (Schreger curves). - In-depth visual examination using a digital microscope. - Long wave UV fluorescence test.
