Pigment thangka on cotton representing the Buddha in meditation on a lotus supported by elephants, taking the earth as witness. He is surrounded by Manjushri, eight-armed Chenrezi, green Tara, Amitayus, red Chenrezi and white Tara, as well as various entities. Above him in the sky, apsar are flying under the five Dhyani Buddha. In the lower part, figures stand in adoration before a wrathful protector. TIBET, 18th century. 88 x 58 cm
