This copy is enriched with an autograph letter signed by Louis Aragon on the title page to Max-Pol FOUCHET (1913-1980): "To Max-Pol, in memory of Les Ponchettes and for a thousand and one reasons Louis", followed by Elsa's signature. Les Ponchettes is a district of Nice where Aragon and Elsa settled during the war.
