Connecting rods with flowers. Tapered legs with stopped flutes. Stamped LELARGE Louis XVI period H. 92 cm, W. 59 cm, D. 58 cm Jean Baptiste III LELARGE (1743 - 1802) received master on February 1st 1775 is the third generation of carpenters in Paris furniture makers in Paris all bearing the same first name during the XVIIIth century. His creations are distinguished from his by a classism associating the purity of the lines and the correctness of the proportions. The National furniture and the Louvre preserve brilliant specimens of its achievements.
