Jan Bucquoy, born in 1945 in Harelbeke (Belgium), is a post-surrealist and situationist artist. Director of theater, scriptwriter of numerous comics, film director and author of numerous happenings. He is also known for his intrepid interventions on television, his annual coup d'état in Brussels and his more or less lasting museums, such as the Museum of Women or the Museum of Underwear, installed on the second floor of the Dolle Mol, a famous libertarian café in Brussels that he animated for many years. This one moved and is currently located in the rue Haute at n°123.
