Egyptian sarcophagus bust. Upper part of a mummy coffin, sawed off below the chest. Almond-shaped eyes and brows outlined in black. Broad nose with flattened tip. Wig enclosing the head down to the forehead. Two wide strands of hair falling over the shoulders. Wood, Ptolemaic, 4th-3rd century BC, 65 x 56 cm. Found at Abusir el Meleq.
