Brussels Tapestry, from the end of the 16th century Technical characteristics : Wool and silk Dimensions : Height : 225cm ; Width : 245cm In the middle of a hilly undergrowth, richly flowered, in the shade of secular trees, we are probably witnessing a mythological scene where we can see Apollo in a purple toga playing the harp (lyre) while a servant hands him a cup, an enormous crater filled with cold water used to refresh bottles of wine.
