Folded fan, the skin sheet painted with gouache of two riverside country views. In the center, shepherds rest in the shade of a grove and enjoy watching a dog breathing in the scent of a basket of flowers. On both sides, fine composition mixing birds, flowers and trellises.
Reverse side in painted paper of a gallant offering a flower to a young peasant girl.
Mounting in ivory* cut out, engraved and gilded with medallions, and Greek, framing loves and flowers. The reverse side is painted with five cartels on a pink background of trophies, landscapes and pagodas inspired by China.
