The woods used include rosewood as well as burl and ebony. Four ionic columnar legs, fluted and fitted with pressed feet, each connected by bars supporting a pseudo basket with carved ornamental frieze in the centre. Above this the deep frame with a large deep drawer with sawn brass ornaments, depicting abstracted suns, revolving and thus free standing. Profiled top plate in burl wood and numerous other, partly coloured woods, elaborately inlaid. The corner solutions with depictions of insects and bees, whose wings are inlaid in mother-of-pearl. Also in mother-of-pearl some contours of a centrally placed butterfly on an ebonized central tableau, which is decorated, by green shaded and partly fire shaded woods, leaf and flower work tendrils with smaller fruits. Delicate bouquets of flowers adorn the other fields, which are surrounded by pumpkin vine work. signs of age and usage, minimally dam. (12901030) (13)
