Women's dress, China, late 19th century, celadon silk twill embroidered with polychrome silk in shaded pastel and Peking stitch and gold thread of peonies and chrysanthemums, butterflies and fire beads. Closing in y with two gold metal bell buttons, sleeve cuffs amply embroidered, lining ramified in pink damask coral, (slight wear on the neck).
