Polychrome painted enamel plate with gold highlights depicting the Adoration of the Magi, against lumpy purplish enamel. Mary is seated, carrying her Son in front of her, who is holding Melchior's offering, facing him, one knee down. Behind them stand Joseph and Gaspard and Balthazar carrying their gift. Beautiful quality of execution.
