Inscriptions on a label on the reverse of the stretcher "De Lorimier d'Etoges (Antoine Charles) born in Paris 1680, died in Paris on May 23, 1755 / Notary at the Chatelet (Fontana study in 1929) / King's Counselor / Master of the chamber of deniers / Repainted, framed and varnished by Leguay in September 1933 ".
Inscriptions on the reverse of the frame: "Original of this painting, the copy of which was removed by Me Emile
