A small painted enamel ewer. Canton. 18th century Of hexagonal shape with indented corners, a thin spout, a stiff handle and a small domed lid, painted in the colours of famille rose with a continuing landscape with four "Western barbarians" drinking wine and being served by a putto and various borders of black scrolls on a blue ground and pink scroll on an almost white ground. Several smaller chips and restorations.
