A large bronze incense burner. Probably Southern China. 19th century
Of squat bulbous shape rising on three curved feet emerging from the mouth of fabolous animals, with handles in form of stylised dragons and a domed lid surmounted by a lion with a brocade ball, the body with shou characters flanked by one-horned dragons in relief.
