A Tibetochinese gilt bronze figure of Buddha Amitayus. 18th/19th century The Buddha of infinite life seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus base, the hands held in dhyana mudra, dressed in a voluminous dhoti and adorned with ornamented jewellery as described in the Vajrayana Buddhist scriptures.
