A Tibetan gilt bronze figure of Buddha Shakyamuni. 15th/16th century Seated in dhyanasana on a double lotus throne with his right hand in bhumisparsa mudra, dressed in a sheer sanghati with fine incised hems draped over his left shoulder, the face with serene expression flanked by pendulous earlobes. Base sealed. Height 13.2 cm Provenance Private collection, Hesse, Germany
