Thailand. 13th century Seated in meditation on a coiled naga, the hands in dhyana mudra, a collier on his chest, the head with a tiered ushnisha, and protected by a seven-headed naga spreading its hood. Remains of black lacquer and red pigments. Mounted on a wooden stand. Height 71.5 cm Provenance Private collection, Rhineland
