An Ottoman silver hanging ornament. Mid 19th century
Of egg shape, decorated with cased cartouches filled with vegetal patterns, with rings and a chain for duspension and with a tassel with fine silver chains. With the impressed Imperial tughra of Sultan Abd al-Majid (Abdülmejid I) (reigned 1836-1861) and sahh mark.
