Georges Lapchine (1885-1950)
Post-impressionist Russian painter from the Paris school, Lapchine learned his skills in Fernand Cormon and Léon Lhermitte's ateliers.
Often exhibited at the French Artists Salon, he showed a profound inspiration for the Impressionism movement, especially through his lights' nuances over the seasons, his effervescent palette for morning views and oblique golden hour colors for evening scenes.
