PAULINE OHREL Statue "The smile of the deep joy of Saint Ignatius
Bronze statue created by the sculptor Pauline Ohrel and numbered 1/8
It is an "inspired smile", expression of the "deep joy", dear to Ignatius of Loyola.
This face/bust is taken from the one that has been reaching out in the Franklin courtyard since 2020.
It wishes to express the "deep joy" that the young Spanish aristocrat discovers thanks to the company of Jesus, forsaking the "worldliness" whose joys appear to him superficial and not very perennial. An inspired smile .
