MAX BLONDAT (1872-1925 )Children and frogs, commonly known as the Frog Fountain or Youth Fountain, the motif created in [1904] Double inkwell. Proof in gilt bronze. Early 20th century cast iron edition. The glass inkwells are missing. Signed Max BLONDAT on one side. Height : 28 cm - Length : 40,5 cm - Depth : 25 cmExhibition : Salon des Artistes français, Paris, 1904 - The original plaster of this fountain, in large size, presented at this event under the n° 2686 of the catalogue . Later, this model was published in several formats and different materials.
