Lacquer box in the form of a sailing boat, the lid decorated in hiramaki-e gold and polychrome on a black background, and togidashi, depicting the boat on the waves, carrying symbols of good omen and abundance; the sides in kinji lacquer, the interior in nashiji and fundame. Signed on one side (small lacquer gaps at the corners and along the edges, wear and small cracks)
