Fine TABRIZ carpet woven in the famous workshop of the master weaver DJAFFER (Persia), end of the 19th century
Dimensions : 181 x 121cm
Technical characteristics : Wool velvet on a cotton foundation.
With three superimposed medallions of brick, midnight blue and ivory entangled with diamond-shaped star flowers.
Four midnight blue and cream spandrels with floral crowns and
seven borders of which the main one is apricot with interlacing palmettes in bloom.
