Fine SENNEH carpet (Persia), late 19th century
Dimensions : 196 x 128cm
Technical characteristics : Wool velvet on a cotton foundation.
On a brick field with a thousand flowers, a double medallion in ivory and sky blue, a hexagonal "gigogne" with two levels, also decorated with floral interlacing. Two counter borders enclose the main old gold garland of flowers.
