Old BIDJAR carpet on woolen chains (Persia), end of the 19th century

Technical characteristics : Wool velvet on wool foundation.
A brick red field supports a trellis of varied and multicolored flowers, framed by two brick counter borders with flowered garlands and a main border of old gold with polychrome flowers.
