REGIONAL WORK OF THE 19th CENTURY Writing case in marquetry of light wood on dark wood with bird on a basket and interlacing flowers in nets, the lid with a stop, opening by a side drawer. The lid reveals a writing case lined with green morocco and five compartments. The shelves of the writing desk open each on a compartment. Closed size: 16.5 x 53 x 27.5 cm. 6 1/4 x 21 x 10 3/4 in. Open size : 13 x 53 x 56,5 cm. 5 1/4 x 21 x 22 1/4 in. Missing veneer, bumps, discolorations, cracks and scratches to the wood, missing handle on the right side, stopper to be reattached on one side, ink stains inside, missing wood divider inside, modern morocco, bent key, restorations to the veneer, torn cloth trim on the bottom, used condition
